China’s Rapid Impact Compactor (RIC) was invented and named by Cao Bin in 2002, Certified by Xi'an Highway Machinery Testing Center and recognized by Beijing Science and Technology Commission as "Domestic First, Internationally Advanced".

Now in its 7th generation, the HC series features 14 models ranging from HC04 to HC300, with impact energy from 4kJ to 300kJ. The Rapid Impact Compactor (RIC) drop weights are available in 3.5 t, 5 t, 7 t, 9 t, 10 t, 12 t, 14 t, 16 t, and 20 t, with an effective compaction depth ranging from 1.2 m to 9 m.

The HC150 is currently our best-selling model and the model we have supplied most widely in the GCC region. It has been proven through actual use on multiple completed projects.

What is Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC)?

Definition & Working Principle

The hydraulic system repeatedly lifts and releases the heavy ram, causing it to fall freely and continuously impact the ground through the impact plate at the bottom of the ram, transferring impact energy into the soil and thereby increasing soil density and bearing capacity.

HC60, HC84, and HC108, with ram weights of 5–9 t and effective compaction depths of 2.5–6.5 m. HC150, HC180, and HC210, with ram weights of 10–14 t and effective compaction depths of 4–8 m. HC240 and HC300, with ram weights of 16–20 t and effective compaction depths of 5–9 m.
